Berlin, 7 December 2020 – The partners of the Ultra-Fast Charging Venture Scandinavia and eMobility specialist Hubject have joined forces to make their ultra-fast charging sites available on one EV-charging application across three bordering countries: Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Forty-eight ultra-fast charging sites (150kW+) will be connected with Hubject’s intercharge platform, the world’s largest cross-provider charging network, further enabling long-distance travel over Scandinavia.Ultra-Fast Charging Venture Scandinavia, established by German E.ON and the danish eMobility Service Provider Clever, is a charge point operator, that has the vision to provide more ultra-fast charging stations and better customer experience for EV drivers across Scandinavian borders.By cooperating with Hubject, the joint venture significantly extends the influence of its eMobility network, providing a long-distance charging infrastructure with a connection to an eRoaming platform.End customers will quickly drive through Scandinavia, using only one application. The joint venture is fulfilling a promise to the European Commission’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) program to build 28 co-financed sites in Denmark and Sweden.
